Valentine’s Gift Ideas For Her

February 10, 2010

Bypass the same old tired gifts for Valentine’s day, the box of chocolates, the bouquet of flowers or lingerie. However, if you’re considering diamond jewelry go for it. Diamond’s are any girl’s best friend. Turn your knowledge of your special sweetie into a unique valentine gift that could only come from you. It doesn’t have to be expensive and probably won’t cost you more than that bouquet of roses.

A Night Out On The Town

Valentine’s at restaurants are often over priced and over crowded. Choose the night before Valentine’s or the weekend after for a gourmet dining experience. For Valentine’s Day itself give a night out on the town. Line a basket with gift tissue or straw. Include tickets to a movie, play, or symphony performance that’s getting rave reviews. If you’re not sure of when she would like to go or if she’s free that evening, include a gift certificate that can be redeemed for the tickets. Add a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers, and chocolate dipped strawberries for an après theater snack.

A Night at Home

Find a DVD of her favorite classic romantic movie. Package it with gourmet popcorn, licorice twists or other movie theater candy, soft drinks, a box of tissues and a CD of the sound track of the movie. Depending on the movie and the season, add a warm throw to snuggle under or a couple of beach towels.

Valentine’s can be a special day with an out of the ordinary valentine gift that could only come from you.
